Zero chance Sanheim is traded barring an insane overpay. Flyers have him under contract now at a good number for both sides, plan on him playing 20-mins a night, plus Provorov remains unsigned.

Both look really good on their respective teams.

Wow Montreal talking to teams. This is shocking. This is definitely the kind of information you won't hear in public.

Not right wing heavy at the moment, having traded Shaw and not knowing if Suzuki is ready for "prime-time". Plus, no one at right wing, prospect or NHL roster, who matches Laine's raw talent.

Beat me to it.

Hard to believe that someone would actually think Habs have anyone is the same class as PL ....

Laine wants a short term contract, around 3 years. So Montreal signs him for 3/30 and gives up 4 1sts? Yeah likely

Any leverage gained in a sanheim trade will be immediately lost in a provorov negotiation

Laine would look good in a Habs jersey. However, yeah, if they have to give up the 4 first round picks they need term...…….how bad does Laine want out of Winni!?

Any team offer sheeting Laine for max term and at a salary that requires 4 1st as compensation I reluctantly let him go. If a team like the Habs want him I will run around Winnipeg high fiving everyone. This team is so far from being a complete team and in any of the next 4 years price misses more than 30 games due to injury them are a lottery drafting team.
